is DBT the best way to treat CPTSD as far as actual treatments? currently just smoke a lot of weed and am trying emdr therapy.

Hi and welcome to PC. I think you have to find the treatment that's best for you. It's complex trying to find what's best. I think we need to be in a certain place in our healing to really benefit from certain therapies. But DBT and EMDR are both good therapies.

I think you have to try them first before you can get anything of benefit. It's hard to determine what therapy works best for each person.
