Maybe that's not something you need, I don't know, but hopefully you don't have to be so hard on yourself.
I feel comfortable in the therapy, but this is the first time. Going through some others were not so comforting. But I kept hearing others say how much they liked their T and that they were getting help and so "settling" with a so-so therapist was not an option for me. From what I've heard a lot of people have to change up several times and that's hard for us, very scary. But I wasn't going to get better staying where I was at, I felt pretty sure of that.
No I don't have anyone to make me feel comforted but that's nothing new and honestly I would rather have it that way. I do get a lot of support here though.
I try not to be hard on myself because I am in the situation I'm in due to circumstances out of my control. But I can't be mad at them either, it just serves no good purpose to be mad about such things and rob myself of happier thoughts. It takes practice and therapy skills like DBT to get to this place though.
