Same here, not much going on. Though I do need to find a way to re-direct some honey bees from my deck to a new feeding station down in the wooded area. Going to take some thought on how to heard bees

Can you transition it to the new location over a few weeks?

My local community theatre is putting on a play this weekend. I should go to that, possibly tonight. Other than that, the usual, cleaning, website work, reorganizing, outdoor time. My daughter and her boyfriend will probably come for dinner on Sunday.

Trying to get them to move by not putting food on the deck and taking it down into the wooded area. But there's still a lot here on the deck. I feel bad that I've started this now and got them dependent on me feeding them. But if I put out food on the deck for a few of them then there will be hundreds again

That's sounds fun going to the play. I'm sure you are looking forward to your daughter coming over as well. So glad all is working out for them.

When I first read this I thought you said you had bees on your desk!

That would be bad, though I did have one sleeping in my hair that I found later, inside the house

Actually what I was thinking was moving the feeding station first off of the deck, so maybe 20 feet, let them get accustomed to that, then moving it another 20 feet and so on until you get it to the location you want.

Bees are pretty resilient though, they will probably all eventually find the feeding station themselves. I was thinking that might make the process quicker.

Just been to the woods with my dogs and now going to clean my car. Not exciting but will feel a sense of achievement.

That sounds like a wonderful time. I like walking in the woods and cleaning my car. Don't have a dog but would like to get another one some day. What kind of dogs do you have? I want another German Shepard.

I have 2 whippets. They love the woods, go haring off looking for squirrels, not that they have ever caught one (thankfully). It was beautiful on there yesterday, no other people, falling leaves, collecting horse chestnuts. A peaceful place.

German Shepherds are beautiful dogs and I think a lot more obedient than my 2!

I actually did make it to the play, but not until yesterday. Three sold out shows. It was really good!

I ended up deep cleaning my bedroom, the rest of the house was a normal clean and then I cleaned the car.

So, not exciting but productive.

I need to hire you clean up my house I have no interest in that. But sounds like you had a very productive day. Nothing like riding in a clean car, just feels so different. Love it when the car is all cleaned up. Love sleeping on a bed that has just had the sheets changed too, seems to sleep so much better

It was very good! So much talent in that group. All local people from my town and surrounding towns. They are already auditioning for their next show.
