I have no patience. The slightest thing sets me off. Rude people in a store cause me to yell at the top of my lungs. It seems my emotions are all angry ones right now and I can't seem to make them stop. I'm afraid I'll end up getting arrested if I can't control myself in public.

are you getting any help wiht this? seeing a therapist? do yu know what is setting you off?

I have PTSD and somtimes i get outbursts of anger - i have to either

take myself away formt eh situation until i calm down

or

try to calm myself

there are some good grounding techniques in the top of the PTSD board - theses work for anger grounding too.

after the event i always try to see what set me off and talk to myself as if i was a friend and see if i can work it out

i wirte it down if i need to and then aks myself the truth to thoses statements

for example

that woman was an idiot - she cut in front of me!!!

TRUTH : she may have lost concentration for a moment and made a mistake - we're all human and we make mistakes - no-one is perfect
I dont know what is going on in her life - so i cant judge her

dont know if this helps..... the only other thing i would say is dont get angry wiht yourself when you get angry - that only makes it worse - and dont beat yourself up wiht "i shouldnt get angry!" "im so stupid"
that doesnt help either

take care and let us know how you are doing ok
