Might work for you.....for me it was one other thing to do and then if I didn't do it, I got mad at myself.....I gave that up...e.g. being mad and the mood diary!

I just started keeping track using the calendar in Yahoo email. It's quick and easy... I just put in the general mood for the day (angry, sad, etc) and then I can hopefully start seeing a pattern.

I just started noting my mood each day in a notebook followed by what I did that day and what happened that day. Very revealing.

PsychCentral does have a "Mood Tracker" which involves numbers (to create graphs of moods day to day) but also has a section for a journal entry if that interests you.
