Does anyone know of a list of different emotions that is fairly comprehensive and even has some kind of indication of what it means to feel those emotions?

A book I'm reading at the moment has a small list and exercises to do based on those just wondering if anyone knows of a better list. Thanks

We are just starting the Emotion Regulation section in my DBT group....they said that the primary emotions are:
Anger
Sorrow/sadness
Joy
Surprise
Fear
Disgust
Guilt/shame
Interest

These are the list of other important Emotion words:
excitement, curiosity, pique, intrigue
weariness, sdissatisfaction, disinclination
shyness, fragility, reserve, bashfulness, coyness, reticence
Cautiousness, reluctance, suspiciousness, caginess, wariness
amazement, astonishment, awe, startle, wonder
boldness, bravery, courage, determination
powerfulness, a sense of competence, capability, mastery
doubiousness, skepticism, doubtfulness
apathy, boredom, dullness, ennui, fidgetiness, impatience, indifference, listlessness

Haven't really thought through this list yet since I just got it today....but will be working on it NOW.

You know, I told T this week that she should have a list out to refer to so I could point to the emotion I'm feeling. She's always asking me what I'm feeling at the moment and I can't come up with a word. I hope she does that. Or maybe I'll bring my own list.
