A big way I've been coping with my emotions is thru writing. I'm currently working on a book.
It really helps take the focus away from my pain and into developing characters, working on POV, researching and improving grammar and usage. What do you do? Last edited by FooZe; Aug 25, 2011 at 02:00 AM. Reason: administrative edit |

Hello, Jane. Having finally accepted I cannot change the past nor control the future, I spend my days attempting to not ruminate nor stress. Yesterday, for example, I winked at an assistant manager of a restaurant, and her husband had me escorted from the premises. A bit radical, I admit, but Steve Martin's skits have been influential.

I've also been getting this craving to paint. Something about making colors blend into on another calms me down. |
