when i get really stressed i some times start to do laughing at a realization then with in seconds it turns into a laugh cry and the full out crying uncontrollably. Then i'll go blank and my straighten up i guess. I've done it the other way around as well with crying and then laughing then crying again.
I use to scare my brother when i use to do this due to he thought i was going psychotic, i haven't done it or maybe only once around my boyfriend a while back.
Today i did it alone.
Anyone else do this? Just wondering how common or uncommon this is.
My boyfriend said it's probably just me being unable to fully cope with what's going on at the time coupled with not control my emotions at the time. Idk. It makes me feel really bad some times.
Haven't done it for a while so i scared me today.

We all cope in strange and different ways. There have been times where I have laughed and smiled during really inappropriate times. I remember when I first found out a friend of mine died, I started laughing. It wasn't that I'm a heartless person and didn't care, but rather, I was unable to accept the reality of the situation and afraid to express my feelings around anyone. I hate that feeling of appearing weak in front of other people. It makes me feel so vulnerable and helpless.

To answer your question, I believe it is very common to express yourself in strange ways. Everyone is different and some people have trouble either laughing or crying. I would feel grateful that you can do both!
Thanks for this!

I am grateful for the able to do both but the doing them both in seconds I am not- unless it is the crying and then laughing with out going back to crying- that I like- but the mixed states of emotions- is a bit to handle at time

but I do agree with you we all cope in ways of our own- I just don't like this way. It scares me for I feel at the time I am going on a bad "breakdown"

I have done what you mentioned about a death- expect with laughter it was a crude "joke" with no emotion or empathy... I still feel bad about that.

I go through the exact same things at times I would cry and then laugh or the other way around which ever it happened the order was either or. It was usually when I am usually extremly neverous or can't take enough that I feel like Im loossing it. Another is when I was a child I would see some things that would not make someone laugh but I laughed out of neverous ness and noone could understand why so know having both is even worse because I look like a nut when they both happen because noone knows rather if I am crying or laughing
so it has only happened when I was not so much lets say myself after days and days and now my life is alomost where I need it to be in that sense and I would say
its comi
mng from when you are on your maxed, last never out wheter high or not
