I hope so, but it doesn't seem like it will any time soon.

Extremely. Although I did make the effort to go to a family dinner today, I felt like a complete outcast. I felt like a wedding crasher except it would have really been a Christmas crasher.

They've gotten me as well. Saturday was nice, since I had my son and we spent the day with my parents. But I've been a wreck since I dropped him off at his dad's late yesterday afternoon.

I've come close to calling family and/or friend's several times. But can't convince myself to interrupt the holiday cheer

Only advice I have is to try and keep yourself occupied. My laundry is all done and my ipod has a ton of new music

I've had the Holiday Blues for about a week now... Yesterday and today have been the worst. I created 'drama' in my head and brought most of it to light within myself. I feel empty.. I have 3 beautiful children and am seriously considering moving them in with thier dads to give them the chance at a life I am unable to provide.. I suck

Yep! You're not the only one and yes, it'll be over soon.

It will hit me tomorrow when the music stops, and the Christmas mess is all that is left. I have always, my whole 50 years, felt so desolate on the day after Christmas.

unfortunately the Christmas Blues always turns into the New Year's Blues for me. luckily, that won't last much longer, either.
