I have mood swings and sometimes feel so discouraged like nothing will ever get better and I will never be normal. How do I cope with this?

Things will get better. Its just a matter of time. I tell myself my troubles are temporal, they will pass. See ya!

Hi PandaLove --

I am sorry that you are going through this. I have a coupla questions. First, do you always experience mood swings or is something going on right now?

Second, are you seeing a counselor?

If you are, perhaps you would benefit from a medication that will help with this. There are so many specialized drugs right now that act on very specific areas of the brain.

Whether the situations in your life and causing mood swings, whether it is hormonal mood swings of young adulthood, or whether it is part of your brain chemistry -- this can make a big difference in how to answer your question.
