I have had people say "oh you should study". Even some of them said my job is sad and not good. Well, it doesn't concern them. It's a very good start for me. They said it on facebook and they were from India. I'm a bit worried about telling my job because they might say "oh you should study so you can get a better job or oh your job is rubbish". I told some people and they accepted it and were happy for me. With the people who don't accept it. I had arguments with them and they made me so frustrated. urghhhh People should carry on with their lives. Gosh, why are people so concerned with me? I have a job in this bad economy. I must be proud of myself. Someone told me I should become a doctor, nurse. Well I tried to become a nurse but I failed work experience!!! People don't understand!!!

Hey there,
Why are you listening to people who live in India? Do you know them? You should be proud that you DO have a job in this economic climate we are in. I am unemployed and would LOVE a job but can't work/find work. Are you in education? Or is this people saying you should go back into education? |

Hey there,
Ok you don't know these people...... no offfence but why are you listening to them? Are they your friends from FB or just people you have added randomly? If you are happy with the way your life is..... the fact your working and you have tried training as a nurse but it didn't work out then why is there a problem? Sorry but I don't get why you are unsure what to do..... am I missing something? |

(((happycheeks))),
There are always going to be people who are critical no matter what. When I started my business and made a plan, there was no short supply of people who had negetive things to say. If I look back on different jobs I had since I was as young as 11 and 12, well, I started by babysitting and actually built up my own little clientel. I was a mother's helper when I was only 13 and I was basically left to run the home while both parents worked building a business and didn't get home til almost midnight every night. I actually learned alot those months. I also had done "cleaning" to also make money and I learned a lot there as well. I did allow myself to work all different kinds of jobs and every single one of these jobs, I was learning something about myself and people in general. And what I also learned that was important, is that I liked to make my own money and be as independant as I could be. I had my own money so I could make choices and buy things "I" wanted without having to ask my parents and give them all these reasons why I wanted something. Happycheeks, you are "working" and getting up and "doing something" that has a reward of "personal gain". When we do that, expecially if we get to see someone who has his/her own business, we open ourselves up to "growing and gaining". And when we do that, we get closer to learning about "who we are and who we could be". It is much better than just sitting and wondering what to be, even if someone gets an education, well, unless they have experience working and doing something, they could just end up with an education and no where with all in how to apply it. With myself, because I had worked in different areas, when I got the idea for my business, there was part of me that felt I could do it, and that came from my history of how I learned the message "I can do it". If we have the sentiment of, "I am too good to do this or that", well, often that ends up with "doing nothing" and that brings on a sense of being at a loss. There is nothing wrong with working with your father in "his business" because you are going to learn more than "just the work itself" you are going to learn about business. So don't let yourself be open to "criticisim" because you will always hear "negetives". Make up your mind that you are just going to enjoy this new venture and while you do it, you will also be learning. Open Eyes |

THe internet is filled with people who are ignorant and don't understand, don't take human emotion into consideration, it's just facebook, plus, they're just random weird people from India they don't know what they're saying. I get a lot of random requests from people from India too... I reject them all. I also had to learn not to take certain online remarks seriously, but yea some people don't have that filter and say / type anything without thinking

I have a freind who married a man with a degree in math education. He could not get a job so he delivered pizzas to make money and support his family. To this day I have so much respect for him. He did not whine. He did not sit home and compain how tough things were. He buckled down and did what he had to do. You are doing the same. Good for you,
