Learning more about BPD, and the difficulty we have with regulating our emotions. I never really knew this is what was happening. Blown away with all I have been learning recently in regards to my diagnosis. Something never told to me by the health professionals who treat me.

I'm not overly familiar with BPD... However, I do have experience with being terrified of my emotions. It sounds like you are pretty overwhelmed with all the information you are getting. In my experience, the process of figuring out "what was happening" with me turned out to be helpful in the long run. The more knowledge we have about what our illness does to us the better chance we have to fight it. At least that is the hope. I hope you will keeep posting about this and that you start to feel less terrified as time goes on and you settle into these new understandings.
