Someone on here has been very vicious towards me. My bad, make that two people. I am trying to stay calm but I keep on shaking. Any tips on calming down?

find a funny movie that you enjoy watching & put it in your computer & watch it.....take your mind OFF of what is causing you to shake.

DBT calls this distraction.....when your mind is placed on something else, it can't think about the other thing any longer.....best solution for distress I have found.

Sometimes I decide a food that I really like to eat (which is not easy since I do deal with anorexia issues) & I focus on finding a recipe for it & then go into the kitchen & focus on making that food & then enjoy eating it when finished........

I have many older friends (I mean really older like in their 80's & 90's & I enjoy making something good to eat that they enjoy & then going to their house to visit & talk......making the food & then driving there & visiting is a great distraction & takes my mind off of what's bothering me.......when I think of others, it's a lot harder to just think about the things that are bothering me.
