Life in a Hurricane

I'm lost in a sea of emotions trapped within the confines of my mind. Between lack of concentration, confidence and a feeling of helplessness, I am drowning in a pool of my own sorrow as I cry tears that don't fall. With indecision and old habits crushing me, it is hard to breath in hope that I can find myself.

There is a light on top of the mountain. It has many faces, but they are all you. You are my north star. My compass that can guide me to myself. There is a hurricane outside and I need to find the courage to walk through life on my way to you and hope that doubt, motivation and helplessness doesn't pierce my heart before the light disappears and I find myself lost in the dark hoping for a rescue that won't come.

*It is hard for me to express my emotions and it is having negative consequences in my life. Today, the words decided to express themselves through my hands.*
