when i moved to this new school, some girl just started to ask me to go away and not hang out in her group. i persisted a few times but then i stopped and started to find my own group of friends. turns out, that didn't work out either. i wonder why some people can be so mean, so degrading that they would just kick you out of their hoard and just leave you there. they're so freakin' mean. they need to learn to be nice before they start going to college. or maybe i'm just bad luck to people. when people show their beliefs to others by wearing a symbol around their neck, they don't judge them. but when i do, people start shying away. i just want to cuss right now but nah, it's too late to fix things. just venting and not wanting to have to deal with the past. i still feel that sense of ostracism.

Alas, no matter where we go, it seems, there are some people who are that way. If you don't mind my asking, what kind of symbol are you wearing?
I guess I was always one of those folks who looked for people who weren't as popular. The popular ones often seemed to get stuck-up and snooty. I like PC, because some of us here feel stigmatized in real life over our illnesses and the unusual behaviors that sometimes go along with them. But even here some people think they need to gang up. I think it must be a self-esteem thing. I have designated friends, but I don't perceive myself as having any "us" vs. "them" mentality. I hope I don't. Shame on folks who are so mean. ![]() |

Hi heyitsme! That happened to me in high school too. I was a table drifter until I found a place where no one bothered me. There were some nice people at that table. I don't know why some people need to be such miserable human beings but at least I didn't have to put up with them long.
