so i have major problems, with not necessarily confrontation, or addressing an issue persay. but i have problems with speaking my mind, exactly how i feel, when i feel it, without hesitation.
i guess thats my main problem, hesitation. and ive been working on it my whole life, im just so easy going and have such deep rooted anger problems that i just know how they can get subconciously and i dont always want to freak out or whatever, but whenever a situation arises, all i feel inside is rage, so much so that i shake, and my heart pounds and i pase and suck down cigarettes til it passes....without saying much, not nothing, but usually not a whole lot, to the person who im angry with. i guess what im asking is, how do i properly balance this?

Seeing a Therapist may help you sort all this out. Especially when anger turns to rage.

I agree with Thunder Bow. Working with a therapist would be the best way to work on this issue in an appropriate way.

This is not a problem of lack of assertiveness, at least not in the way in which the word is usually conceptualized.
In terms of practical steps, therapy, as advised above, would really help you out, Wishing you the best. |
