So I have a business trip for work next week. yes next week.
I will be many states away.

And today, a week out, I am already feeling a world of emotions that just keep going round and round. I know some of this is typical mood crap I have on a daily basis. But the trip is making this a lot worse.

I can't think straight. I am all over the place and am just worried about everything. I know I need to chill and that's why I am posting. Anything that works for anyone is much appreciated for sharing. Just a hey - whatever - I just need to get this down and hopefully wind myself down or else this next week is going to be like this and much worse by the time Monday rolls around. OMG this so has to stop soon.

Think of the Trip being an adventure and a challenge. Thus enjoy it! It just might be fun, and a welcome change of pace and environment!
Thanks for this!

Have you tried some relaxation techniques? Breathing techniques help me alot when I get anxious. Maybe focusing on your negative or anxiety producing self talk and then changing it to sound more relaxing or calming. I personally don't like business trips either. I have fo use a lot of positive self talk. Good luck!
