Honestly, if I would just learn to put some distance between the initial feeling reaction and what comes out of my mouth! I get in so much trouble talking about my feeling before I have a chance to think out the situation. It hurts me and it hurts my husband and leaves me having to rebuild myself, the relationship and my inner health all over again!

Maybe start a journal and try to get in the habit of writing it all out before you talk to your husband. One idea. I imagine you just react without thinking which we all tend to do. There is nothing wrong with stating you feelings its just how it is done. I can't tell you how many times therapists have told me to use "I" statements. "I feel angry because..."

Writing really helped me. It gets it out and nobody has to see it. I make sure, I burn my writings, lol

Sometimes I realise it hurts my husband when he hears how I really feel.
We had an argument about it last week in fact. He's being a bit supportive. I'm not in a good place right now but at least he's listening |
