I've known for A LONG TIME that I have a quick temper and it gets the better of me.
Today, my boy and I were sitting down after lunch and he asked me why I get so angry over stuff. I was embarrassed. I am embarrassed. I understand the saying, "seeing red". I say things that hurt others, I punch walls, whatever I hope can handle it and not break. I've patched holes in walls already. I will admit that I have not hit anyone...yet. I need help, where do I start? I have read enough on this forum that physical exercise will help alleviate some of the repressed anger and so I have started running already. What else can I do. |

Make a list of things that frustrate you in life. What can you change? You are not hurting others, thus what you are experiencing is normal.

One of the best things is to put your feelings on paper. It gives you more time to think things through, even after they happened. Try too avoid things that may trigger it.
