I made some posts on Facebook and had some off interactions with friends, I feel ashamed about it and wonder if I should go up to each one of them and explain that I was sick and now I'm better. Or do I just let it stand where it is?

If you feel the need, it would be better to just simply apologize. An explanation isn't absolutely necessary—especially if your friends don't know about your medical history. If they do, that's different and you could add that you manic at the time.

I agree with, I.Am.The.End. Sounds like good advice.

I usually just let my manic ramblings pass on by without mentioning them again. if I truly hurt or did something disturbing to someone, I will apologize to them, informing them I was manic so they understand the behavior was out of the ordinary for me. I work really hard to stay offline when I am manic to avoid such things...
