How could you call yourself a mother and profess to love your children and show no action towards that? That is my experience with my own mother. I don't understand her. It tends to want to make me sad bring me down mess with my head. I love my mother and so hope one day she will show some sense of care. I refuse to go to that place. Yesterday she tried to take me there. I really feel sorry for her, she is missing out on a daughter.

I'm sorry you weren't able to have loving mother. But sounds like are taking care of yourself. Some people are not born to be motherly or fatherly. My dad didn't, he was raised by parents who had no idea. My dad tried but wasn't able to show until he was in his seventies.
Hope your mom wise sooner?J

Thanks Gayle, for those words. You are so right in your statement about some folks just don't have those motherly or fatherly qualities. When you look at it that way it helps some take away the sting for a bit.
