Why does {almost} EVERYONE use this word?!! Ugh!!

Not being in touch, with your emotions, has not much to do, with INTELLIGENCE. But the thread in Other Mental Health Discussions, about Emotional Intelligence, wouldn't be a bad thread to look at...

we all make poor decisions. Hope you can accept you did, and move on.
the actions don't determine who you are; your beliefs do...

Sometimes I call myself "stupid". I think it is because I know I did something I regret, and I guess I am trying to punish myself.
Perhaps you could be more gentle with yourself. When you are ready, you could ask, "what did I learn from this?"
Sending you hugs.

I use this word because I had a lot of negativity for some ill advised actions of mine- it's not an emotional description

It's the most common negative word, that floats around society. Whether it be an emotional description or not ((meaning, I cannot get my kids to stop using it. And I am feeling like the only one who sees this word as problematic, in life---everyone else, uses it too, not just them!))
Thanks for this!
