Missing my beloved Buddy





I lost my best friend six months ago...
His name was Buddy and he was my world....
Buddy died from a snake bite.

Here is Australia we have some of the deadliest snakes.
In my area I have seen brown snakes, tigers, redbellies, green tree but mainly carpet snakes.

We don't know which one got him but he didn't seem to suffer. He was just very weak and passed away at the vets.

I use snake repellent sprays, garlic sprays, Fake hawk and Owl and even have a solar powered gizmo that emits some strange sound into the ground to deter ground snakes. I kept the yard clear of hiding place but all to no avail.

He barely spent any time out side, mainly lived inside....

I am so grateful for the time and love we had together (seven Years). A couple of weeks before he passed way we spent an entire week alone together camping.. I am so grateful for that time.

Any how I just really needed to talk about him. I can't keep bringing him up to the family because they are still missing him too.

I'm sorry if I am making you sad. But I loved him so much..... I can't believe he is gone.... We had such a special connection.

I keep call his name and expecting to see him.
I know it's been a while but I just miss him so much.

He was a beautiful dog.
