I don't want to go to jury duty. I don't want to jeopardize my job, or make tons of extra homework for myself because I'll be missing class.
Too bad I don't think the court would accept "being too tired and too stressed" as an excuse to get out. They'll just tell me that everyone is stressed and everyone else has things they'd rather be doing, and I'm just an entitled brat who doesn't want to do schoolwork. I just don't have the energy for all of this stuff. I was hoping to relax now that my big group project was done, but no, I get more work, and more obligations, and more chores, and more arrangements, and more of a rush to get everything done but failing at everything. |

Sounds like you haven't been picked, yet. Maybe you'll be lucky. I can't imagine they want people who are overloaded and uninterested. (Not that I know much about it. But seems it would be counterproductive.)

Take care of yourself! That is the most important thing. Can you call out sick from jury duty? hang in there!

sometimes the needs of the one out-weigh the needs of the many.
tell the court (if you're even called) that you doubt if you can even keep focus or use good judgement, because you are so stressed. they cannot use you then. and it happens to be true~
