Four years ago (or so) I was a different person to who I am now. I would never do some of the things I did then. But, hey, I wasn't a bad person then either And I shouldn't have had to go to prison at the age of 6 for taking a grape from a shop (stupid example, just one of the threats I was subjected to when I was a tiny cub...)

I wish wish wish I hadn't trusted a certain doctor IRL (many many years ago) I was such a freakin idiot

Fuzzy

You were treated badly as a cub and I was also.

I'm a product of my past and fighting hard to be calm and centered.
It ( past) never seems to leave does it?

I've decided to move forward now .. I've wasted too much energy and am ready to move on.

Want to come with me?

Fuzzy, I'm not the same person I used to be either. We learn from our mistakes if we are lucky and move on like the river.

Aren't I philosophical today?

Hey Fuzzy, real glad for you that you're moving on
But not having done things "right" all the time absolutely doesn't need to have made you a bad person!!
No-one's perfect, everyone's going to make mistakes........it's the recognising them, learning from them, trying not to repeat them, moving on from them that matters.........until we make another mistake
I'm sorry you've been treated so harshly for mistakes though
In fact I'm sure plenty of mistakes were probably completely "normal" "mistakes", completely understandable "mistakes" to make as well.
And as for trusting that doctor..........well they are "in a position of trust" ............so you should be able to trust them...........natural instinct for a lot of people to do that, especially when they need help from someone who's very title says they are qualified to help........
So you did nothing wrong in trusting them, they were the one who was wrong in letting you down. And now lesson learnt (although you never should have had to go through that!!), hey?? You demand the best treatment, you deserve it!!!
