I dont feel good. Im scared. I dont think the ed is going to go away. I dont want it to go away. I dont know whats wrong. I need to throw up. I need my therapist but she cancelled tomorrow and i cant wait another week. I hate myself. I hate my body. I need to cut it off. Im going to explode. I hate feeling like this. I need to do something that will make it go away. But i know it won't work. Cuz my therapist told me that nothing can take away feelings. Only distract them. But i need them to go away.

I don't know exactly what is wrong. I don't know what is causing you to feel this way but I hope these feelings and your ailments go away soon. That must feel miserable.

Feel better soon.

You can't take them away. but you CAN change them. to me, it sounds like you are unsure about defeating your ED. you're not sure you can do it, or you're afraid of failing. but remember that you are worth recovery, and that you can succeed.

You've been doing good to fight for yourself so long! Maybe you can call your therapist or a friend to help with some of those feelings. Or you can go for a walk to ease some of that anxiety and turn it into something healthy!

Did your therapist differentiate between true feelings and feelings that could be considered irrational (due to psychological trauma or other mental disorder)? The therapist is correct in that true feelings are exactly that: real feelings. Real feelings can feel horrible but if the feelings are due to a chronic, persistent condition then the therapist should be a resource and work to help you with deal with the feelings and possible other problems that might be associated/connected with them.

Sometimes we think too much. Distraction is the solution. Sometimes we have to force ourselves into distraction. It does work though, I've tried it.
