Every single effing time I get the slightest bit happy....something happens and that happiness is snuffed out.

I should just give up on happiness. That's what I'll do. I give up on ever being truly happy again.

On a side note, I'll be removing my IUD myself. I won't be needing it anymore....no sense in having birth control if I'm never going to be needing it again.

Are you talking about what happened earlier? I tend to agree that it was a bit rude of them to say and do those things. They should have known better.

About the guy you wanted to hear from on skype. That can tend to happen. The best thing is, like I said, approach carefully and don't put too much into it. Talk about what you like and just be you without expectations. I'm sure someone will like you for you. Perhaps continue with the poetry. Don't give up if some things don't work out. Life can be a bit rocky and the worst thing is to give up. Skype can be a bit tricky and you shouldn't use it as a basis of determining someone's interest. I think really if you get to talking to someone for a bit ask them if they like you. Being open and honest with your feelings will probably be the best path to take.

The key point is to not be afraid of rejection. If they say no or disappear on you, try your best to not take it personally and keep at it. I'm sure you'll strike gold someday.

Longest was 7 months...but that was years ago...last time a guy even showed interest he flaked out before the relationship even started...what am I doing wrong?

Are you trying to move too fast perhaps? *shrug* No clue. Me personally I am just trying to focus on improving myself. I've always been alone and have never been with a woman and I am almost 22. Only thing I had happen to me was the neighbor girl from behind that was renting out the house who was a year older than me gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Though I hid away because I was a bit bashful and perhaps too young for love even though I wanted it.

Different for every guy I would think. Maybe avoid talking about marriage and kids within the first few dates maybe if you are doing that.

Tell me your qualifications. What do you like to do for fun. What do you do for a living. Are you aiming for guys that are perhaps too high up for you? I'm not going to lie a lot of people tend to have an image of someone that is perhaps too good to be true. Me included. You've said you don't want a fat guy but you yourself don't like to exercise? Seems a bit unfair to expect that of others when you can't expect it of yourself. I'm not saying to go for a fat guy or someone you don't find desirable because a person shouldn't settle.

You get what you put into it. Try not to seem desperate.

I watch anime...play video games...read books....mostly fantasy adventure novels...and eat good food. I like animals and volunteering....but that's next to impossible because I can't get out much. Transportation issues.

Perhaps try working on the transportation? Join some clubs. Meetup.com. Go to church more (even if you aren't religious, I'm not religious at all) . Be more social. At least that is what I would tell someone like me who doesn't go out at all. If you're not out enough, the chances to meet someone is going to be much much lower.

I can't really fis the transportation issue right now...it's out of the question. I have no means or power to do so. I am not going to a church because they offend me deeply with their homophobic ways. So yeah...I am pretty much ****ed. And not in the good way.
