How do you cope when you find yourself in that kind of situation and can't get help?

Especially when you're thinking dark thoughts?

I'm here on PC a lot but I feel very much alone still...

Hi! Why not pm someone, or try a chat? There's also the suicide prevention line. I'm not sure what else to suggest at the moment. Please don't do anything desperate.

Usually I read a book or start talking to someone on the internet. And most of the time I still feel alone too.

I did call a crisis hotline once when I was feeling really down and lonely. It helped, actually.

When I am alone I turn to my pets. I can talk to them about anything and they always act like they are listening. Or I'm in PC chat. If you are ever lonely, come see us in the chat room. We will do our best to make you laugh and help you forget your troubles.

Getting lost in a favorite movie is one of my ways of dealing with feeling alone. Watching a movie I've seen over and over again is like visiting an old friend.
Please remember that even though you may feel alone, you're not. You're welcome to send me a PM if you need to talk. I care.

Thanks so much you guys!

I think I'm just going to read or watch movies online for a little bit.

I can't really call a hotline... I have no phone of my own. Which means I'd have to use the family phone and have my parents finding out, which is not an option... I don't think they'd be very understanding.

I might go give chat a try as well, although I've never used the chat... I have to admit, talking to a lot of people at once seems kind of daunting to me.

And maybe I will pet my cat too...

This is why I love people on PC.

Thanks again!

It does tend to get a bit lonely. For me I don't really know. Sometimes I act on bad thoughts and do bad coping mechanisms and sometimes I just sit around mumbling to myself. Trying to escape bad thoughts.
