Decided I wasn't going out drinking tonight and now I can't sleep. My mind is racing so fast I can't focus on a single thought before another one passes by. Feeling restless, anxious, and just needing to calm my nerves.
Tried counting sheep but every time one jumps it BAAAAs at me and it's very annoying. I guess my imagination is also keeping me awake.

I'm sorry counting sheep didn't work for you. When I can't sleep I focus on my breathing. It usually relaxes me so that I can go to sleep.

You drink to keep yourself from those feelings you listed. No wonder you had trouble sleeping. Work out the feelings with a Therapist, and you will sleep better in the future. The sheep are saying Baaad!
Thanks for this!
