Hi there everyone. I have been going through a lot of mood swings lately. I am involved with a guy who is Schizophrecia and Bipolar and he is wearing on me. He is too needy. I have feelings for him, but I am starting to have resentment for him too. I feel stuck. This is actually the last thing in the world I need right now. Any suggestions?

Maybe you need a break from each other to kind of let things settle and see how you feel. Dealing with someone that is needy can be quite draining. You must look after yourself, before you can help someone else.

KristenRenee, is he getting the support that he needs from a professional? I agree with gayleggg that maybe you need a break from each other and this may help both of you in the long run. But before you decide to take a break, have you considered seeing a professional together? Is this an option for you guys?
