I've been seeing a guys for a month. We know each other for years, and ended up sleeping together a couple of times. In if of these occasions, the condon ended up inside me. I was panicking about STD or getting pregnant. I asked him and he promised me he had no HIV.
a few weeks after another friend who knew about our relationship, she didn't know that we slept together. She to,d me not to sleep with him because he had HIV/aids. I was in shock, and asked her where did she got this information from. Her response was: there is no diagnose but I remember that he was very ill 10 years ago, and he is black we all know that HIV is very high on the black community here. I thought I was going to die. He was my lawyer, and I considered him a friend. I couldn't believe he has done that to me.
Because if my work, I need to get tested for HIV every so often. Now I'm very scared of getting positive. I'd definitely lose my job, which I can't afford.
I confronted him on that, he said that these rumors are "rabbish". I told him about my HIV screening next, ask ask if I would be ok?? And he response was: absolutely. I'm so nervous about this that I can't barely sleep.

I don't think it is likely that he has HIV. People can get really sick for a variety of reasons, and it is exceptionally racist to assume that someone has HIV because he is black.

Also, if you do have HIV, there are excellent treatments for it nowadays. You can pretty much have a normal lifespan. The only downside is that the treatment is very expensive.

Try not to worry about it.

I been in that situation before with the condom inside of me by my ex boy friend and getting pregnant and worrying about getting HIV. I know that feeling of being afraid and wonder if you have it. I had to get one test and it came out negative and then wait for 6 months and get another one.that came out negative. Please try to calm down and try hard not to worry, I know that it is not easy and it can be soo hard and scary. Just wanted to let you know I care and I am here for you. write to me anytime and befriend me,if you want. My username is Liz1965 and I am 50 years. take care and hugs

Worrying is the hardest part. Maybe just go get tested so it can ease your mind. I know how hard it is trying not to worry. I wish you the best.

Thank you! Yes, I'm going to get tested. Although it will be a hard week waiting for the results.
