I am very heartbroken due to the relationship I have with my sisters( which is none) I have never done anything to my sisters but yet they act like I'm not good enough for them. They won't even except my Facebook friend request, even though they have my oldest son on there and my cousins. They never include me in family get togethers. They even have 2 of my cousins alienating me also. I have talked to my parents before about this and they just shrug it off. My family and I were in a home invasion that nearly killed us and they never even asked if everyone was alright. I have always been nice to my sisters always got along as kids and this really hurts me a lot.

Welcome to Psych Central, lifeisastruggle. I am so sorry you are suffering from family struggles. I hate to say it, but from what you write of your sisters and your actions, they do not express compassion or love in the same way some strangers here at Psych Central do when I have a problem. I see no reason to try and reconcile with someone that indicates no interest. It is sad, but there are many compassionate people here.

People here at PC may also have a therapist to talk things out and a psychiatrist or psych doc to diagnose and prescribe meds to help balance things out.

Besides being an active participant in helping oneself at Psych Cental, many people also help support each other by replying to other people's posts. Many people who are actively involved in Psych Central find it helps take them out of their own problems to develop empathy for others. And their problems are more manageable the more they help others.

Glad you are joining us here. Some people find the forums give them the compassion and empathy they seek. http://forums.psychcentral.com

Please feel free to private message me or any of the Community Liaisons by left clicking on the name in blue to the left of their post) for questions or just to share.

Hi Lifeisastruggle, I am very sorry your sister's are so cold towards you. Are they younger or older than you?

Also, sorry to hear you had a home invasion, wow, that must have been very scarey/traumatic, have you gotten therapy for that?

((Hugs))
