anyone have any good strategies for dealing with anger?

i think i will relapse (heroin) if i dont deal with this somehow... lots of recent triggers. i spent most of my life avoiding feeling anything, but especially anger, so now... suddenly i am free from everything that kept me small and suddenly feel everything like hell.

Not besides the obvious ones. Exercise, ripping a thick phone book, meditation, screaming out loud while driving, etc.

Please don't relapse.

I don't get angry with few exceptions here and there. But what helped was Exercise and excessive cleaning. Please see your t if you have one and post here but please stay strong

I've got lots of anger too. How about seeing your T and letting it all out there. I mean yelling at the top of your lungs. I'm thinking of this myself. Maybe they wouldn't mind going somewhere secluded so you can vent?
