I feel shaky and my stomach feels nauseous and my chest feels like it's full of butterflies. Must be the diet Pepsi I drank throughout the night. I just want to sleep.

Any suggestions?

Have you ever tried virtual dreaming? It's hard for me to explain but I basically go to bed and put myself into a daydream and hope that I drift off to sleep from it.

I know what you are talking about. I do that on a regular basis but can't seem to focus tonight. My caffeine reaction is distracting. I shouldn't have had the whole damn two liters in one night.

ouch no that's not good especially if you are sensitive to caffeine. Emailed my aunt who's an RN and this is what she said:

Drink at least 32 ounces of water to help your body begin flushing out the caffeine substance. Drink all 32 ounces in a period of five to 10 minutes to begin re-hydrating your body and restoring minerals that might have been depleted by the caffeine.

Eat one to three servings of fruit or other citrus food high in vitamin C to help restore the minerals sapped by caffeine. Caffeine alters the plasma, whole blood and leukocyte levels regulated by vitamin C concentrations, resulting in a vitamin deficiency in cases of caffeine excess. Make a fruit salad of sliced apples, bananas and oranges to help your body combat the vitamin-leeching effects of caffeine.

Repair the anxiousness and general stressed emotional effects caused by caffeine by taking time out to relax. Set a digital timer for 15 to 60 minutes and select a quiet, solitary area where you can comfortably sit and meditate. Close your eyes and focus on your breathing as you allow your pulse to slow to the rhythm of your breaths.

Don't know if any of that is possible for you but maybe something in there will help. I left out the lecture about how bad soda is for you because who needs a lecture on that but as a RN my aunt loathes soda pop.

I appreciate you leaving out the lecture. I will drink the 32 ounces of water and see what else I have around the kitchen that your aunt says can help.

I knew the second I emailed her I'd get the lecture LOL. When she was married to my mom's brother I got to hear it EVERY time I picked up a soda

I hope you find some relief. I have to get busy here at work

I know the feeling. My sis in law is a nutritionist and always reams me out for drinking soda.
