Forgive or just plain forget?

I just got off work and pulled up me email on my phone. Do you know what I saw? An email saying I had a Facebook message from that same group that shunned me, bullied me and possibly sent me gorilla poop in the mail via a horrible revenge service called Poopsenders. Apparently, I've been "invited" to a group on a site called Chatango.

I almost flipped out. My stomach knotted up. These people and the events that transpired around both them and me caused me to have a mental breakdown, to the point of checking into a psych hospital for an evaluation.

I....want to think the best of people, and part of me is curious as to what this group on Chatango is about. But at the same time, I seriously don't want to fall victim to anything.

Part of me wants to scream and yell and curse them for what happened, yet another part just wants to forgive and move away from that anger.

I'm at a total loss as to what part of me is trying to direct me towards the right path. Any ideas?

Oh man. Oh man, oh man, oh man. I took a look and you know what I saw? What could possibly be the very same person on Facebook who....well, let's just say he was the catalyst. Or rather an guy I wanted to hook up with but who later decided he'd rather not be tied down in a relationship.

I made a rather audible grunt/groan when I saw the screen name.

Block and unfriend the entire bunch. When / if you receive another request just delete it, hard to do? Sure but you are an adult....seriously if someone sent me poop in the mail? well time for common/sense, block and unfriend is a fabulous tool but only if you use it.

One thing nice about computer and phones, you can always turn them off_. Delete, block, and ignore, works well too.

Don't... just don't. If there are any lessons or insights to be gained from the experience, take them to heart and then just move on.

Turns out it's not the same group of people. The one member just had a screen name similar to the afore mentioned guy.

However, I was forwarded that one of the "group" has been invited to the chat so yeah, not too keen on that. It is what it is and I will go there sparingly, if at all.

Sending poop through the mail is something I would consider harassment and I would call the police and report it. You should block the group on facebook so that they cannot contact you, and individually block the members of that group as well.

I do consider it harassment, but little can be done as I have no proof. I threw away the poop as soon as I got it and it was sent anonymously. I suppose I could ask for the site's purchase records if I needed to, via a court order, but I sort of find it amusing that a bunch of people would spend 40 dollars just to harass me. Especially since I stopped all contact with them for several months. Guess I must be very popular in their little clique. Lol.

Yup! Just delete, ignore, unfriend...not worth your mental health and peace of mind!! Not worth your time to deal with their crap! You are worth soo much more...how said that they spend their time figuring out to semd poop in the mail...
