After a rocky childhood of some sort of mental illness back then... As an adult I made it through college and I was on the career path to getting my master's.... Then mental illness reared its ugly head again to the point where me and my husband are poor and maybe even loosing our home. Can't even have a job or we would loose our medicaid and food stamps. But I'm too emotionally unstable now for a job anyway. How can I clinb out of this ruin?

Sending hugs your way. I have been on food stamps and am now on Medicaid. I've just resigned from my part-time job because the car is shot for good. I drove 35 miles round trip. That got old and the miles added up quickly on my old car. I haven't been just where you're at, but know the feeling of being emotionally unstable and not able to work more than just 25 hours or so...

Start to set some personal goals. Some easy some difficult. As you finish a goal it will drive you through the next one.
