I spoke with my partner today about the difference of being in love and just loving someone. I felt the same way. I didn't feel the magical feeling with him like i used to with my first love. But this wasnt his first partner he was with, the person he was talking about. So i have no clue what to think of it. I got really hurt and Googled it. It said someone used that when he was upset, which he didnt seem like. But someone might use it too when he doesnt feel the same way anymore, is not happy in the relationship or wants to end it. Or hes just confused about what love means such as me.

I didn't understand well. Do you love him, but you feel that he doesn't love you? What is difference between being in love and loving someone to you and to him?

I agree with Le.Monsieur.S-- maybe you could try to clarify what you're asking about? I became confused about where you and your partner stand other than in agreement that there is a difference between being in love and loving someone.
