On line people are telling me to stay away from men for like a year. They don't know me beyond a post. People heal at different rates and I feel fine. My health is better I have a permanent job a descent car. Next step is get an apartment.
But I've started getting involved in church and am a member choir now. And there's this guy there I run into a lot and we'll I find him attractive don't really know him but remember him giving me a ride after a car mishap when I was a teen. So I know he's a good person. I blushed once when he spoke to me. And an older choir lady who appears to know him very well told him I looked like I'm interested. He has made it a point to talk to me twice. But he is a church greeter. Don't know if he recognizes me maybe. But next time I see him I'm planning to mention that I recognize him and now I know why. Relationship status I'm not sure of his. Right now just innocent.

I'm not sure I understand your situation, but on the whole I find it a little exasperating when people tell others they have to stop being in relationships etc. I think people just take it way too seriously, is all. I think obviously you have to make you have a balanced life and that you're not expecting to get more from a relationship than it will offer, otherwise you could find yourself unhappy, but really a lot of people online (never come across this attitude in real life) treat relationships and dating with the seriousness of bomb disposal. You find it everywhere; Reddit even. It's weird. Do what you want, OP. Your life, innit.
