Does anyone have books to recommend on these topics?

Unloving mothers/ surviving abusive childhood

I don't read many self help books, but I have read all of Augusten Burroughs books and have found them to be helpful. All his books are autobiographical. The experiences are horrible and sometimes triggering, but peppered with humor which protects both himself and the reader. Running With Scissors, his first book is about the second half of his childhood. Then Idk the exact order but magical thinking, possible side effects, sellovision, and dry..are stories from 18- present. Then the last book he has written is Wolf At The Table which goes full circle back to his earliest memories of childhood living with his parents. His first and latest books are both about reliving his traumatic childhood. The rest are about all the trials and errors of adulthood, jobs, friends, relationships, society etc..that helped him to be able to cope and process his trauma and ultimately become a functional successful adult. I think he is an incredible writer and role model. He definitely helped me
