I basically realized how I managed to cope so long socially isolating myself was I paid psychics to basically tell me my life will be okay. I never realized that I would be paying someone was because I was lonely and had managed to push away all my friends and even tried to my entire family. If you think about it that is very sad and I feel sorrow that I would be causing that kind of pain to myself when I know how much I value my friendships and family so much. It kind of makes me wonder if this is how I am punishing myself for things not turning out better. That's sad.

black-roses, sometimes we just push people away to protect ourselves, so we can process our hurts and mend give ourselves time to heal. And then we push people away because we struggle with introvert vs. extrovert. Each of us has both and we tend to balance them out, it is called boundaries and they are healthy. It is unhealthy when we are too introverted or too extraverted. That is something you might want to consider. You are lonely yet most people even in a crowded room are lonely for they want to be accepted and understood, not judged. I have found that when i stop looking for acceptance in others and just live my life that happiness returns for it is no longer conditional. I hope some of this helps. I wish you well, tc (((hugs)))
Thanks for this!

This does help I haven't thought of it that way and yes I am doing it to process my hurts but then pushing people away to process my hurts makes me hurt even more and feel abandoned and alone.

You're better off seeing therapists. People who make a living as "Psychics" will say anything to get your money and are only out for themselves. I'll tell you for free that your life will be OK. Make the best of it, be your best, take hold of it, do it for YOU.

I agree with Tisha. Go see a professional. No offense to those who believe in psychics but common now

I think it's a really important step that you've recognised this pattern of behaviour in yourself and others (the psychics). This is all in the right direction for you to make positive change in your life - good luck!

Do you think it is odd that a theta healer (a healer that heals spiritually) would tell me to get tests for pyrolla at a naturopath?

I personally would not take medical advice from someone who does not have medical training.

You have the final say so what a Doctor or Psychic has to say to you, and their advice. Stop looking for reasons to feel bad about yourself. Both can help. But in reality, they are of no help, if you do not want to heal.

I think so much about spiritual activities comes down to intent. But I agree the intent of many is to prey upon the vulnerable. A true spiritualist and psychic would never charge for their services. Intent goes both ways and I would suggest your real intent is to break loneliness. I read my own cards but with the intent of putting my situation in perspective.

Of course, I also believe in science. I would see a doctor and from their referral see some proper therapy.

I have a psychologist and she gave me something to read about subjuction I agree it I do try and change who I am to please others but I refuse to do it any longer my needs are just as important as others and they need to be met.

"A 'healer'is not someone you go to for healing.
A healer is someone who triggers within you your own ability to heal yourself."
