I find that writing things out here helps me feel better. I recommend it, actually. Writing things out helps me. It also helps, for some reason, to write it here. I think because I initially start it out, because I want help and support. This is what I wrote today.
I'm deeply sad today. I don't have a lot to do today. I keep thinking about things that make me feel really sad. I lost my friend. He didn't die, but it was time for us to part ways. And I miss him. I went to him all the time with stuff I needed to talk about. But he wasn't always very nice, or respectful towards me. I wish it was Thursday. That's the day I see my therapist. I don't care for my psych nurse much, and was going to go to a different place, but can't bear the thought of seeing a different therapist. I tried and it didn't work. I'm not working, and haven't been for a few years. I don't even know what it is I want to do. I'm getting vocational counseling from an agency. My worker is going to set me up with vocational testing. I'm excited about this, but he has been really slow to do it due to an illness he has. Like, its taken him over a month to get me a referral. Still don't have it. I feel like in a sense, this is unacceptable. I know he's sick, but maybe someone else can help me there. I will figure it out. I made a list of things that make me feel better. My aim is to do some if not all of these things today. Have a good day everyone! |

Better days will come. Try to focus on positive and happy things. It worked for me. Vocational counseling will help you. Try and see a doctor too. You might be depressed. |

Thinking of you.
Thanks for the reminder of how helpful it can be to write things out. I'm going through struggles of my own and journaling is helping me, as well as lists. Take care. |

Journaling helps me so much.
It helps me to "see" things and helps to resolve things sometimes. It also makes me/keeps me more aware of everything going on for me. I can move through life more easily with journaling. I hope the voc rehab works out for you! Thanks for sharing! ![]() WC |

I liked your post. Where do you go to get vocational rehab? I'm in the same situation, not having worked outside the home for years. Good luck to you! |
