I am no where near healed. But my sec drive is returning. Good sign? Maybe but not so good to be single and alone.

I have been single and alone for a long time. Libido is a weird thing, I guess especially as we get older. A lot of the time it is nowhere on my radar.

had to laugh - not at your feelings/frustrations, but because I can relate and empathize w/this! For the longest time, antidepressants held my bipolar libido at bay, some killed my sex drive entirely. Now that my meds seem to be a good fit for this time of my life, I have been surprised by the return of desire.

Thank god I can control it now, because even the buttoned-up engineers at work (nice men, but more cerebral than physical), with their conservative hair and dad pants, are looking prrrreeettty good....

I have never had sex in my life, but lately my libido is so high I feel uncomfortable talking about it. I've been single for a few months (my previous bfs where a long distance relationships), and with my new meds for my PCOS and anti-psychotics I'm all whiney about men and sex. My sis told me to chill out so I'm doing my best, lol.

I'm 69. A young approached me for advice on handling her desires. So I shared what I do.
Lol. She was shocked, and said "YOU!?
I said "I'm not dead honey. I'm not dried up." Lol.
Thanks for this!
