Hello, I am very scared because someone went through my house and threw stuff on the floor. I am so petrified because there was a guy that threatened me with rape and said he was outside my house at least 6 months ago. I am so scared I am shaking my head is spinning. I can't tell left from right how do i calm down?

Yeah, you should call the police and file a report that includes this guy's name and his threat against you.

My mother doesn't care and is hellbent on blaming dad when he wasn't even here. Doesn't give a **** that I am scared because someone threatened me with rape. Would much rather blame me for everything that others do then help me because she's a selfish ***** from he'll. I called the police they told me to come in I can't because mum won't take me. Says it's all in my head. There's a door outside I have never seen before. Can you believe this she honestly gets an award for heartless ***** vengeceful mother award.

If the house was broken into then police needs to come to your house. They wouldn't ask you to go there. They would show up to the crime scene. I had my house broken into and burglarized years ago and it's a very traumatic experience. I am sorry that happened but I don't understand why is police not there investigating? I am confused.

the way i always calm down is this: first thing i do is breath. just focus on you breath and nothing else, it takes a while if your really emotional but eventually if you focus on nothing else you will calm down enough to decide what to do next. next you need to use some coping skills. I assume you go to therapy and that they've taught you some things to do? if so remember those skills. If you haven't been taught anything, do you have anything you enjoy doing? like drawing, reading, or listening to music? try that.

i hope this helps!

This also happened too me years` ago! And it is not a nice thing to experience.
My advice is phone the police again and explain your plight and anxiety. I am very sure the police will advise you in confidence what to do and most probably refer you to the appropriate body!!

Hope it all goes` well for you.

Take care............... Al

So your family installed new door while you were away? Are you seeing a therapist or a doctor?

I guess my interpretation whenever someone tries to give me comfort is I am mentally ill. I have no idea why I interpret it that way. Theres a gap in my understanding I suppose. <3

Hi
when I said "what do you mean by this?" I was referring to the quote, and then I added a hug of my own

It's okay I've felt insecure for a while so when anyone asks me questions I just feel like silly and crazy I suppose.
