I feel really raw and hurt right now after a yet again terrible conversation with my dad. My relationship with my dad is painful. He is an alcoholic. And probably depressed, with diabetes. He has many psychological issues from what I can see, and he refuses to acknowledge it or get help. I live with him and my mom. I'm working on a way to move out. I am on disability, and am not making enough that way to move out right now. But I have been told my disability earnings would go up if I moved out. I am meeting with someone Monday, to discuss this.

Your disability may even be able to provide funds for the move

I had my appt. with the organization that was helpful for housing. I found out that my disability income will not go up if I move out. Right now, it seems like I will have to get a job or subsidized housing. I might post in the job forum about something. I would actually really like to work, just don't know how ready I am. Today, I have faith that things are going to work out, especially in time, and with perseverance. I am feeling more patient today, as, I think that getting my life together in this way, will take time. Today I am grateful that my parents let me live at their house rent free, and not upset with my dad anymore either. I just try to keep my distance, and be kind. Thank you everyone for the support.
