I had a melt down this morning. Same sexual struggle issue. It's not even my h now, he's really trying his best. It's me. I have a traumatic reaction and I don't know why or how to control it. But it's getting better in that we understand it, talk about, do CBT.

Then I got upset because he said he wanted to go out today, when he knows I am trying to get the house in order, scraping paper off the walls, too much to fix, overwhelming. Also another way we don't work well together.

I had a crying melt down. But my h stayed calm. I calmed down. Then we worked on the walls together peacefully.

So, it's getting a little better. I didn't over dose and lose the day.

Yay for small steps.

That's awesome Tisha! I strive to reduce my meltdowns with my teens. Going to remember your message next time and see if I can stay more calm.

I've been taking cannabinol for a few weeks. I think it's helping my mood. When I had the 'attack', I also took a Aleve PM (not supposed to because I also take an anti inflammatory), but I calmed down and bounced back within minutes.
