How do you deal with burnout? Any book suggestions or anything?
I feel like everything is coming to a head. I'm doing horrible financially. My career is crap. I have a current mate that I would like to start a future with but financially, I just can't afford it. Sometimes I get this burst of motivation where I see my problems as simple mysteries that I need to solve but often, I feel so defeated that all I want to do is sleep or drink. I can't seem to muster the energy or motivation to sustain any type of progress to fix my problems. |

Hello BlueBucket: I'm sorry you are having this difficulty.
![]() ![]() The book I always like to recommend with regard to discovering one's path in life is: Let Your Life Speak- Listening for the Voice of Vocation by Parker J. Palmer, Jossey-Bass, 2000. (Reading this slim volume is how the Skeezyks became a "wise old troll".) ![]() ![]() ![]() |
