I'd much rather face physical chronic pain ,because emotional pain can be felt mentally and physically.

Well... as a person who has some of each... I suppose one good thing about physical pain is that family & friends can, at least to some extent, relate to it. No one wants any more to do with emotional pain than is absolutely necessary. At least that has been my experience...

Well, they're both terrible.. but I guess emotional pain lasts longer.

I'd take the physical pain as well. In fact I have both.
