I find myself extremely upset when I encounter a rude person or something did not go as I planned. If someone says something unpleasant to me,I just feel like crying.

I know the world can't be full of nice people but I just can't toughen up. How ddo I handle these things like all other people? What is wrong with me?

What does your therapist and psychiatrist have to say? I am finding CBT to have worked wonders with my own self-worth making dealing with people a heck of a lot easier.
Thanks for this!

It means you are sensitive, and there is nothing wrong with that. Go with it.

Yes, I agree you are sensitive. Some people are more sensitive than others. I think I'm sensitive, too. My technique is simple: avoid people , but I hope you will find another and more practical technique.

Lol Mr Stranger, I have the same trouble, the only difference is that I don't feel like crying but getting angry and I feel like getting as negative as them which I know is not good then I swallow my feelings sometimes and just feel bad for the rest of the day, or at least the next hour. I would love to stay centered, to be assertive, cool and relax

I'm sorry. I can relate to your feelings. I guess all you can really do is ignore those kind of people, but that isn't easy. :/

I'm sensitive too. People that are bullies, rude etc usually have low self esteem and do it make themselves feel powerful. Sometimes I will inwardly smile and repeat to myself I'm glad I'm not like them.
