Sometimes I wonder if there is something wrong with me. I really like people. I read about being good at talking to people and having good social skills but I always feel that unless they want to sleep with me or are just being nice (you know because it's their job or they are in church) I strike out. Not to say that I can't do people in small doses but I really struggle to make a connection and have had people tell me I'm hard to get to know. I'm so lonely. I read it was easier to meet people online but I haven't seen that. Maybe the city will be more accommodating? I only hope Ididn't ramble too much thanks for the listen.

What if you were to seek out groups that share some interests?

This is the backbone of my plan to meet people when I get to the city. In the meantime I'm waiting until we move. There isn't much in the way of that kind of thing where we live. You know what I mean though when you go into a group and are lucky if you mesh with one person? Maybe I need to be more versatile?
