I have noticed depression creeping up on me this last week. Usually when I'm feeling strong emotions I will isolate and cry. This time I'm laughing uncontrollably when I'm starting to feel sad or am having disturbing racing thoughts. Has anyone else had this happen?

Yes, I have. just a couple days ago. It's happened a couple times in the past too. I knew it was different than usual laughing. I thought "wow, you must've really needed that." I enjoyed it, but I would hate to have it happen at the wrong time

I recall reading an article once about the mental & physiological health benefits from laughing... Might be something worth exploring further...
